Catholic men are ordained to apostolic ministry through the sacrament of Holy Orders. It is a sacrament that enables the Church to exercise the mission of Jesus Christ as first entrusted to the apostles. Bishops, priests, and deacons who receive the sacraments are participants in the ministerial priesthood of the Church. The ministerial priesthood serves the whole Church by participating in the one priesthood of Jesus Christ. Ordained men are conformed to Jesus Christ in a unique way, allowing them to represent his authority and make visible his leadership of the Church.
Those seeking ordination to the priesthood or diaconate are welcome and needed. If you feel that God is calling you to this ministry, please call the rectory and we will direct you toward the appropriated diocesan resources.
