Cody has worked in parish ministry for the last 12 years. He received a BA in Theology and Sacred Music from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a focus in systematic theology and gregorian chant. He also received an MA in Sacred Theology from Saint Joseph's College with a focus in liturgical theology.
Cody discovered a strong passion for sacred music and catechesis during his time as a seminarian for the Diocese of Columbus. Since then, he has moved to Cincinnati and married the love of his life, Angela.
In his spare time, Cody enjoys leading international parish pilgrimages for parishes throughout the country, raising livestock on his family homestead, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
Cody has a number of responsibilities here at the parish. His primary role as the Catechetical leader for the Eastside Region revolves heavily around the faith formation and religious education of the parishioners, staff, and faculty of our region. This includes facilitating the RCIA and Family of Faith programs, offering a variety of Bible/Catechism studies for adults and children, planning and organizing parish faith activities such as the parish missions, and making sure he is available to our school teachers and catechists as a resource for religious education.
Cody resides in New Richmond with his wife, Angela, and their three sons.
