Born in Indianapolis, Fr. Jamie Weber was raised in Cincinnati from the age of 2 on. Fr. Jamie is the middle child of nine — four brothers and four sisters. His parents, David and Kathy, are natives of Cincinnati. His mother grew up in Oakley and attended St. Cecilia school. His mother and father actually meet in the cafeteria of St. Cecilia and were married at St. Cecilia over 50 years ago.
Fr. Jamie grew up on the westside — in St. Antoninus parish, specifically — and attended, both, the parish school and Summit Country Day grade school. He is a graduate of Elder High School (Class of 83’) and received his BS in Business from Mt. St. Joseph University. He was accepted at age 32 to Mt. St. Mary’s Seminary of the West here in Cincinnati. He graduated from the seminary and was ordained a priest in 2004. Fr. Jamie was appointed as parochial vicar at St. Margaret of York Parish. He served the parish for four years before being appointed pastor of St. Cecilia Parish in 2008.
